East Ayrshire school pupils have been told to self-isolate at home after coming into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
Contact tracing teams are now operating in a primary and secondary school in the region following the development. The Standard understands that those schools are Kilmarnock Academy and Galston Primary.
