NFL team owner could be set to face Dan Bilzerian in a $100million (£73m) heads-up poker game.Alec Gores, an Israel-born American billionaire, is looking to buy the Denver Broncos, The Los Angeles Times have claimed. The 69-year-old is part of an investment group of three men who have a "planned bid" for the up-for-sale American football franchise. However, he is also currently embroiled in a feud with professional poker player Bilzerian, who claims to have beat him for large sums of money.Speaking on The Michael Sartain Podcast, he said: "That guy Alec, he saw my podcast and he text me."I said I beat him for like $40-$50m, and he’s like, 'oh, the number wasn’t that high'."He’s like, 'I wanna play you heads-up, let’s see who has the bigger balls for $25m apiece'."I [said] I’ll play you for $25m at the Aria if you wanna wire money over.

And then he was like, 'I don’t wanna play you unless it’s for at least $50 million'.Should they play for charity instead?

Let us know in the comments section."I was like, 'I’ll wire in $50 million to the Aria in 10 days if you wanna play, and we can televise it if you want'."And so he’s challenged me twice, so I think we might play for $100 million."Following those comments in October last year, the one-vs-one match is still yet to materialise.Bilzerian has said Gores is stalling on him and recently claimed his adversary once received a $350m tax bill for his poker winnings. But he remains optimistic of their showdown happening at some point.Gores has remained quiet on the situation, but should he be successful with his Broncos bid, then Bilzerian will be facing an NFL team owner..
