Alternatively, follow the white dot around for 30 seconds to a minute until the grey dots appear green. If you're wondering why your vision goes all funny, there's a simple explanation to it and it's called the Troxler's Fading.Swiss physician Paul Troxler found that focusing your vision on one element can make all the other objects disappear or fade. The effect happens when the optical illusion affects visual perception.

We've seen this happen before with the Pac-Man optical illusion as it baffled the internet. Lenstore asks people to focus on the cross in the centre of the red circles popping in and out of sight. You will find that the space in the red circles leave behind are replaced by green spot afterimages. After a while, you might find that the red spots seem to disappear altogether (due to "Troxler's Fading").If you look at the brainteaser, something very odd happens if you stare at it for 30 seconds. When the image was posted on Reddit last year, many were baffled by how their vision changed.Want all the biggest Lifestyle news straight to your inbox?
