Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, says the organisation will look to bring about major change to football when the coronavirus crisis is over.

The 49-year-old is aiming to cut down on the amount of games and major competitions played around the world when the football season is able to resume.

Infantino did not give a timeframe for that but claimed the current suspension of the season is an opportune time to reflect on the way the game is being run and, potentially, reform its schedule.
