Netflix has released its first trailer for a terrifying new true crime documentary which takes a look at the blood-soaked history of the infamous Cecil Hotel.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel follows the ghoulish events that took place at the titular hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, California, in 2013.

The gripping four-part series follows one of the America's most mysterious disappearances – that of Canadian tourist Elisa Lam who seemingly vanished into thin air after she was seen acting erratically on hotel security cameras.

Weeks later, she was found dead in a water tank on the hotel’s roof sparking the attention of police, the public and the internet sleuth community.From the director behind the the acclaimed Netflix true.
