NCT 127 made history Tuesday night, becoming the first K-pop band to perform at Texas' RodeoHouston, the world's largest indoor livestock exhibition.
The Seoul-based group squeezed in the rodeo's last party before Mayor Sylvester Turner announced Wednesday (March 11) that he's canceling the rest of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo due to coronavirus concerns. "So I heard it’s the first time at RodeoHouston that a K-pop group ever performed," Johnny announced onstage amid their screaming fans. "Just to know that, to see our fans, our NCTzens out there really makes me very, very happy." NCT 127 brought the world-dominating K-pop sound to approximately 62,000 fans, according to Paper City Mag's concert review.
