NBCLX Adds Esports to Programming Lineup

NBCLX, the NBCUniversal owned streaming network aimed at adults aged 18-45, has added esports to its programming lineup. Beginning Nov.

16, esports titles from ESR 24/7 esports Channel — known for covering Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, Hearthstone, Fortnite and more — will be featured in the schedule.

Content includes holiday-themed video game mini-challenges, competitions and interviews with esports professionals. "We are thrilled for NBCLX to present esports competitive entertainment to our audiences for the very first time," said Matt Goldberg, vp of content strategy at NBCLX, in a statement. "Esports is a global phenomenon.
