Travis Scott, real name Jacques Bermon Webster II, was arrested in Paris on Friday morning after a violent confrontation with a security guard outside the five-star George V hotel, located next to the Champs Elysees avenue. Contacted by Variety, a rep for the hotel declined to comment and said “an investigation is going on.” According to local media, Scott and one of his bodyguards were fighting near the hotel when the security guard intervened, which was met with violence from Scott. Police were then called to the hotel at 5 a.m.

People making a new claim for PIP could be due £2,764 in back pay before end of year

People with a long-term illness, disability, physical or mental health condition making a new claim for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) this month, that later turns out to be successful, could receive up to £2,764 before the end of the year. The latest figures from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) show that 51.7 per cent of all new PIP claims are processed within the target time of 75 working days - just under 15 weeks.
