Naya Rivera's family have released a heartbreaking statement after an autopsy confirmed that the star accidentally drowned. Glee star Naya’s cause of death has been confirmed as accidental drowning after her body was recovered from Lake Piru on Monday, 13 July.
Naya, 33, had been enjoying a day out on the lake on 8 July with her four year old son Josey, before she went missing and was presumed dead.
Her body was found on day six of the search at Lake Piru in Southern California. A statement has been released by Naya’s representative on behalf of her devastated family, according to Deadline.
