But one man who took his part of being a beetle in a play so seriously is driving his wife mad. The woman explained that her husband is a successful actor who has worked alongside many A-list celebrities in a number of films.
But as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, he hasn't had any work. So when he was offered the main part in a play by a major theatre director he jumped at the opportunity. "The play is The Metamorphosis, about a German man waking up one day and finding out he has become a monstrous bug, a huge beetle," she said.
