Mum 'left daughter in poo-covered seat' in unlocked car while she gambled in arcade

mum has been arrested after she allegedly left her child in an unlocked car with dried up poo as she gambled in the arcade. Bionca Lockett, 32, has been accused of leaving her infant for nearly two hours so she could play in an arcade in Florida last week.Police were alerted by a concerned passer-by who told them there was a girl seen inside of a Nissan Sentra opposite Pirates Arcade, which is a 21-and-over 'social club' on Friday (March 4).According to the arrest affidavit, the cops discovered the child “sitting in a car seat alone" while the vehicle was unlocked.

Lockett left the arcade shortly after police arrived.When the police told the mum they planned to review CCTV footage, she reportedly confessed that she “left her child in the car alone with the windows rolled up and A/C turned on, thinking she would only be inside for a few minutes".Police said the infant had “dried poop from poor cleaning, dried skin, lips were chapped, and she appeared to be malnourished," reports The Smoking Gun.It is believed the mum failed to have “adequate food for the child in the car” so police brought baby formula to supply the girl with “nutrients and liquid to offset how dehydrated” she was.Lockett was arrested on a felony child neglect charge after she reportedly gambled for a total of 1hr and 44 minutes.

She is being held in jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.It has been reported that the mum has been ordered to have no contact with the infant unless it is authorised by the state’s Department of Children and Families.The mum was arrested while on probation following her no contest plea to a felony grand theft count last year.
