'Huge bang' as stolen car smashes into three other vehicles in police chase

Locals reported hearing a 'huge bang' as a stolen car smashed into three vehicles in a police chase. Police first spotted the car - suspected to be on cloned plates - near the Times Retail Park in Heywood just after 9pm last night (Friday).

The car made off from the scene. Officers pursued the car and during the chase, it crashed into three other vehicles - two of them parked cars.

The Manchester Evening News understands the pursuit came to an end on Egerton Street as the stolen car smashed into another.
