A mum fell off her bike and froze to death after becoming stuck with an injured leg, an inquest has heard. Jacqueline Parsons, 56, died after spending 17 hours in freezing temperatures in the graveyard in Hull, on what was described as one of the coldest nights of the year.
She was stranded for hours despite two police officers being dispatched to search for her after she was found by a dog walker who raised the alarm.
Her partner criticised Humberside Police force at an ongoing inquest into her death this week, reports reports Hull Live. Officers found her in Western Cemetery at 9.30am on Sunday, October 28, 2018, after police were called at 4.45pm the day before.
