A woman who froze to death in a cemetery was searched for by police for just nine minutes, an inquest has heard. Jacqueline Parsons, 56, was eventually found 17 hours later by a dog walker after falling off her bike in Western Cemetery, Hull, in October 2018.
Jacqueline had died as a result of hypothermia due to her temperature dropping on one of the coldest nights of the year. Two PCSOs entered the cemetery in their car and conducted a search but when she was not found the log was closed, HullLive report.
Nearly a year on from her death, an inquest held at Hull Coroner’s Court found that the officers "did not conduct an adequate search" for the much-loved woman.
