Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

plane crashed with possible 'nuclear material' on board, killing four people, while a fifth is missingThe military aircraft hit the ground near the Route 78 highway in the Imperial County area of California, at around 12.25pm local time on Wednesday (June 8).Teams from various emergency services, including ambulances, sheriff's deputies and firefighters, were seen rushing to the remote desert location.The crash site is around 80 miles southwest of the location of the annual Coachella music festival.Corporal Sarah Marshall, a spokesperson for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, said that the crash involved a MV-22B Osprey aircraft.

An anonymous federal source speaking to the Los Angeles Times said that all four killed in the accident were US Navy Marines.Military officials were forced to deny that nuclear substances were not being transported on the plane after speculation began to spread on social media.Aerial footage posted online showed smoke rising up from almost completely charred wreckage in the desert.
