The moment a parked motor was engulfed in flames during a fireball horror on a quiet Scots street has been caught on camera.
Emergency services raced to the scene on Eriboll Street in Glasgow shortly after 12am on Tuesday, February 7, to reports of a vehicle fire.A video taken by a nearby resident shows flames shooting into the air as thick, black smoke billowed into the sky.
A fire engine arrived at the scene just seconds into the short clip.The Nissan car has been completely destroyed by the powerful blaze with the engine melted onto the road below.
The back windscreen has also shattered. Thankfully, no one was injured, authorities have confirmed.A police investigation into the circumstances was launched by officers who now believe it is not suspicious.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they sent one fire engine to the scene with crews extinguishing the blaze a short time later.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.05am on Tuesday, 7 February, 2023, officers received a report of a vehicle fire on Eriboll Street, Glasgow.
