After shutting down production following the outbreak of Covid-19 earlier in the year, the two Mission: Impossible movies, parts seven and eight, are reportedly set to resume shooting in September.

Like numerous Hollywood projects, Mission: Impossible 7 also took a beating following the Coronavirus outbreak. But it seems like the Tom Cruise starrer is ready to restart filming. Mission: Impossible 7 first assistant director Tommy Gormley told BBC Radio 4's Today that the filming could start in September and the team could still stick to the May 2021 release date. Now, a new update has revealed Cruise could be going the extra mile to set the ball rolling in safe circumstances. 

As per the latest news reports, the highly anticipated film, Mission: Impossible 7 starring Tom Cruise will resume their production work in the month of September. A report in Variety states that Tom Cruise starrer will restart their filming work from September and that the cast and crew will film outdoor scenes first. The news reports further add that Mission: Impossible 7's first assistant director Tommy Gormley reportedly revealed that the team hopes to shoot in all the countries that they had initially planned. The film had to suspend their production work which was meant to start in Italy.

Tom Cruise will resume shooting Mission: Impossible 7 in September (20) following a forced hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the film’s first assistant director.

“Mission: Impossible 7” holds the distinction of being the first major Hollywood production to be halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was scheduled to begin work in Italy when the country’s outbreak occurred in late-February/early-March.

“Mission: Impossible 7” is preparing to leap back into action again in September after the Paramount feature was forced to radically change its shooting plans in February because of the coronavirus pandemic.
