Mis-Teeq star Sabrina Washington is in talks to front her own documentary about racism in the music industry. It comes after the 41-year-old singer said that she was routinely told she couldn't appear on the front cover of magazines because she's black.
Lead singer Sabrina starred in the girlband from 1999 alongside Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash until they split in 2005. Alesha and Su-Elise, who are both mixed race, got magazine covers, but Sabrina didn't, saying she was told by management that she wasn't "aesthetically pleasing" and that "black girls don’t sell magazines".
