Mick Jagger made a sly dig at Glastonbury organisers when they headlined the iconic festival in 2013. The 76-year-old rock star and the rest of his band performed on the main Pyramid Stage on Saturday 29 June at the annual music event.
However, Jagger made a slightly controversial comment towards the organisers when the band members took the stage by storm. Stepping out to their 100,000 performers, he slyly quipped: "It's great to be here doing this show, doing this festival.
After all these years they finally got round to asking us." His band mate Charlie Watts gave the joke a cymbal crash in agreement.
