Michelle Mone compared her weight struggles with self-abuse after she lost eight stone. In a new interview, the lingerie tycoon claimed she was abusing herself when she was at her heaviest size 22 which sunk her into a dark depression.

The global speaker, 48, said her snowballing weight gain - which saw her get "bigger and bigger" - was spurred on by her heartache.

It was her divorce from her first husband Michael left her feeling depressed in 2012. She told MailOnline : "I was at my heaviest and had three children running around me and [I was] launching Ultimo around the world.
