Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has opened up about her “emotional damage”, saying she wants to use music to help others find courage and self-acceptance.

Paris – just 11 when her father died of a drug-induced cardiac arrest – has kept away from the limelight, fearing comparisons that are impossible to live up to.

Now 22, she says she has realised music is “what I was born to do”. Her late father Jacko, known as the King of Pop, is regarded as one of the greatest singer-songwriters ever.
