While each of the three stages’ crowds are visible from the main stage, there’s hardly any noise leakage, ensuring an intimate feel to catch Nick Cave’s dulcet tones or the thumping pop of The Chemical Brothers.As well as its bountiful musical offerings, Kalorama prides itself on sustainability.

Evidence of that is strewn all around Bela Vista – in English, Beautiful View – with plentiful recycling bins and lush greenery.A reusable cup scheme is in place at the venue – simply purchase a Kalorama-branded plastic cup for a euro and refill it with drinks before returning it for a refund, or take it home as a memento.When it comes to the music, there really is something for everyone.

55-year-old rocker Peaches delivered an empowering set made up of her feminist hits including Vaginoplasty and P***y Mask, before donning a pro-choice shirt and waving an abortion flag over the crowd.With her backing dancers stripping fully naked on stage, it might be one to keep the kids away from, but her feminist message and incredible vocals left not a dry eye in the house.Nick Cave and his resident Bad Seeds were a personal favourite of mine.
