Duchess of Sussex said that she has chosen to have no personal social media accounts for her own "preservation". She also likened them to "addictions" similar to those experienced by drug users.

Speaking to Emma Hinchliffe, she said her and Prince Harry had an Instagram account which "the institution" managed. She was referring to the Royal Family as 'the institution' while explaining her personal use of social media.

Before the pair stepped down as senior royals, they updated fans via their "Sussex Royal" account.However, following discussions with senior Royal figures, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex agreed to drop the brand and their last post to their 10 million followers was on March 30.
