Meghan Markle has been described as "not a great audio talent" by a Hollywood talent casting agent following the news that her Spotify podcast had been axed last week.Meghan and her husband Prince Harry announced they were parting ways with the digital streaming platform after signing a lucrative deal with them in 2020 and producing just one season of her revolutionary show.The Duchess who hosted the award-winning podcast Archetypes on Spotify was recently branded 'talentless' by the the CEO of a leading talent agency in the US at the Cannes Lion festival last week.Jeremy Zimmer, 65 who is the co-founder and CEO of United Talent Agency (UTA) shared his critical thoughts on the former actor to outlet Semafor, the Mirror reports.He said: "Turns out [Meghan] was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent.
And, you know, just because you're famous doesn't make you great at something."His comment comes after WME, who are the talent agency that's managed Meghan since April, suggested that the Duchess is already creating more content for those who enjoyed her podcast.
WME told the Wall Street Journal recently: "The team behind Archetypes remain proud of the podcast they created at Spotify. Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform." It was announced earlier this month through a joint statement from the royal couple and Spotify that they had came to the 'mutual agreement' to part ways with the streaming giant.A joint statement issued earlier by the two companies read: "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together."Despite Meghan being awarded with Top Entertainment Podcast Host at the Gracie Awards
