Meghan Markle has been branded a "B-list actress" who was insufficiently prepared for life in the global spotlight when she decided to marry Prince Harry, a royal commentator has claimed.

The royal commentator alleged Meghan, who has featured in numerous films and TV shows, was "ill-prepared for the centre of global stardom".

The 38-year-old found fame on US TV show Suits, though wasn't a household name before her relationship with Prince Harry. Royal commentator Katie Nicholl claimed that despite her love for red carpets and showbiz events, Meghan's time in the spotlight wouldn't have helped her at all when it came to joining the British Royal Family.
