Matt Lucas is the latest celebrity to do his part to help fight the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The Little Britain creator, 46, has revealed that he has raised over £600,000 pounds for hungry NHS workers who are fighting on the frontline day and night to help patients in need.
Chatting with Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast this morning, the funny man detailed exactly how he raised the money for the vulnerable NHS staff.
While bored in self isolation, Matt decided to take to Twitter with his original tune called the Baked Potato Song. In doing so, the writer expected to lift the mood of the few hundred people he though would come across it.
