Matt Lucas has said he’s lost seven people to coronavirus, as he defended his satirical mocking of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s latest lockdown update.

Many were left scratching their heads at Johnson’s message overnight in which he let us in on the next steps to ease out of lockdown.

However, after sharing a rather brilliant impersonation of the PM, some came for Matt and felt his video wasn’t all that funny considering people were losing their lives.
