Martin Lewis confirms HMRC will give you a tax break no matter how many days you work from home

Coronavirus restrictions remain in place across Scotland which means a large number of employees are still working from home with restricted or no time at all spent in the office.

First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon confirmed last week that the next review on the reopening of non-essential offices will take place on October 1, with many businesses across the country not expecting to open their doors to staff until October 31 - at the earliest.

And now money-saving expert, Martin Lewis, has some good news for remote workers. The financial guru and founder of MoneySavingExpert.com has confirmed that employees are still entitled to a £6 a week tax break for working from home - even if they spend some of the week in the office.
