Scots comedian Janey Godley bags award for her Nicola Sturgeon voice overs

And the 59-year-old was delighted when she picked up the prize for Best Online Content at the Scottish Comedy Awards.Other nominees in the category included Lewis Capaldi’s Twitter and Limmy’s Twitch.Fellow Scots comedian Frankie Boyle was also recognised for his show Frankie Boyle’s World Tour Of Scotland.And the 'Still Game: Final Farewell' was recognised as in the Best Comedy Event category.

Janey had her fans in fits of laughter over the last few months when she did a voice over on one of Nicola Sturgeon's speeches and said ' Get back on with the pumpin.' First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has even admitted to being a bit of a fan of Janey herself in the past.
