Martin Keown has called for Arsenal to give legendary manager Arsene Wenger a role leading the club. Keown and his former Gunners teammate Ray Parlour believe Wenger's contribution to Arsenal should be immortalised with a statue outside the Emirates Stadium.
But Keown says the club should go further than that and hand the 'visionary' Frenchman a high-powered role in the boardroom.
Wenger is the most successful manager in Arsenal's history, having guided the Gunners to three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup triumphs.
He was also the club's longest-serving boss, having been at the helm for 22 years before stepping down two years ago. Wenger has not taken another managerial job since leaving Arsenal - and Keown says the 70-year-old
