Martin Keown has revealed he once confronted Arsene Wenger in the Arsenal dressing room after they had just won 3-0. The former Gunners defender was renowned for having a hot temper, and was never one to shy away from a row.
And on this occasion he sought out Wenger, following Arsenal's victory at Charlton. A Thierry Henry double and a strike from Freddie Ljungberg had given Arsenal a deserved victory away from home, but despite their thrilling performance, their boss did not seem that impressed.
Keown recalled to The Mail : "There was another time I had a word with Arsene Wenger, after we beat Charlton away in 2002. "I’d just come back from a broken leg and we battered them 3-0.
