It has been 16 years since Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal saw off Leicester City at Highbury to complete their famous ‘Invincibles’ season, having remained unbeaten for the duration of the 2003/04 season.

With 26 wins and 12 draws, the Gunners became the first team since Preston North End in 1889 to remain unbeaten over a whole season.

It saw the north London side’s title confirmed with four games to go in a draw against Tottenham, earning a specially-commissioned golden Premier League trophy.
