Mark Hamill feels honoured to be able to make sick kids happy as Luke Skywalker. The 69-year-old actor - who rose to worldwide stardom by playing iconic character in the money-spinning sci-fi franchise - has revealed he feels a responsibility to make himself available for his fans, after he received a message from a father whose nine-year-old son passed away in April 2017.
Brad Simpson wrote on Twitter: "As my son Elijah was dying of pediatric brain cancer in 2017, @HamillHimself contributed to a birthday video Lucasfilm put together where several Star Wars actors wished him happy birthday for his ninth bday (April 22).
