Manchester United scout reveals talks about extended transfer window

A Manchester United scout claims there have been 'unofficial talks' about an extended transfer window to revive the market.

The summer window was due to open on June 1 but will be pushed back after the coronavirus pandemic halted football across the globe.

The Bundesliga is scheduled to restart on Saturday and there are plans to resume the Premier League next month but the Dutch and French leagues have already been cancelled.

Fifa proposed an opening date of the end of the season. Piotr Sadowski joined United in 2017 as their international scout and has overseen a raft of academy signings from eastern Europe.
