Manchester United supporters have honoured club legends Sir Bobby Charlton and Denis Law with two new banners paying tribute to their achievements at the club.
Fans group Stretford End Flags have designed the artwork to commemorate two of the Red Devils’ all-time greats. They have been installed on either side of the scoreboard at the Stretford End.
Fans will hope to see them for the first time when United host Burnley on December 30 - their last scheduled home game of 2021 - should the club’s COVID-19 situation improve.
Sir Bobby’s banner reads ‘‘Born in Ashington, made in Manchester’ in homage to his upbringing while Denis’ says ‘Denis Law: The King of the Stretford End’.
