While lockdown restrictions are slowly beginning to ease, it's likely to be another month at least before we can venture back out to a restaurant.
Hospitality businesses have been told they won't be able to reopen until July 4 at the earliest - although Boris Johnson offered a glimmer of hope recently when he said they 'may be able to do things faster than I previously thought'.
In the meantime, restaurant owners have been working hard to adapt to such incredibly challenging circumstances by launching new takeaway offerings and other initiatives.
The latest to announce a new business model is Gary Usher, the owner of north west restaurant group Elite Bistros, which includes Hispi in Didsbury and Kala in Manchester city centre.
