A man who travelled from Manchester to North Yorkshire for a BBQ with friends drove himself to hospital after he was stabbed.
Another man, also from Manchester, has been arrested following the incident in Barden Bridge in the Yorkshire Dales. The victim, who is in his 30s, suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed after a row broke out, YorkshireLive reports.
He remains in hospital following the attack, which happened at 8pm yesterday, and was helped by strangers before getting medical treatment.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "He was attacked during the barbecue at Barden Bridge following an altercation with another man, who police believe knew the victim. "He suffered serious injuries and drove himself to hospital
