The family of murdered soldier Lee Rigby has urged people to stop using his image ‘in a divisive way’ in arguments against Black Lives Matter protests.
A number of social media posts have emerged in recent days containing a photo of the British Fusilier in response to ongoing civil rights protests in America.
Protesters and police have been clashing in the US since the death of unarmed black man George Floyd at the hands of a white police officer last week.
Those using the picture of Lee Rigby have pointed out a so-called ‘lack of outrage’ when the dad-of-one was murdered in a brutal attack just yards away from his barracks in London on May 22, 2013.
