Premier League clubs will be able to make five substitutions for the remainder of the season after a temporary rule change was agreed on Thursday.
Clubs, including Manchester United and Manchester City, will be able to name nine substitutes instead of seven and they will be able to five of them instead of three.
The change was agreed at a meeting between all 20 clubs on Thursday as the league gets ready to resume action after a three-month suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
