first comedy club in the country to host live stand-up again since the national lockdown, at a pilot performance in July. But it has been unable to stage any more shows since, with government plans to resume live performances delayed by a fortnight and Greater Manchester later placed under tighter local lockdown rules.Now, socially distanced indoor performances have been allowed to resume in Manchester and the club will reopen its doors properly tonight.Its Barrel of Laughs showcase is back on Friday and Saturday, followed by its popular Beat the Frog night on Monday.The club will be open every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday thereafter, along with a schedule of special touring shows including Carl Hutchinson on Sunday September 27.
