Manchester Carnival Together will take over Alexandra Park in Moss Side for the ‘Road to Carnival 50’ event on Saturday from 1pm to 7pm.
It will kick start the countdown leading to the return of the full-scale Manchester Caribbean Carnival next August, when it will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
