Manchester United are planning to spend millions on state-of-the-art upgrades at their Aon training complex which will include a new games and music room for their underperforming stars to relax in.The club's training ground has been in desperate need of a face-lift for a while and Old Trafford chiefs put in planning permission last year for a bunch of new facilities including new offices, a new gym and a new catering area.

It's understood that players have also had an input, with many of them keen on rooms for recreation.According to The Sun, the club will also be creating a 'quiet and chill-out zone', for their squad members to un-wind after morning sessions, and there are also plans to build a wellness area for activities like yoga and book reading.Leading the development at Carrington is Mags Mernagh - who was one the key figures behind Leicester City's newly-built £100 million training ground, which is rated as one of the very best in the country since it opened in 2020.Speaking during the latest edition of Sky Sports' The Overlap, former United defender Gary Neville urged the Glazer family to "reset the culture" at the club, insisting that one of the ways to do that was to revamp their out-of-date training ground."They then need to build a new training ground.

Me and Roy [Keane] were part of the squad when we moved 22 years ago. We were devastated to leave The Cliff, but we've now got a training ground that's behind the other training grounds," Neville said.Do Manchester United need a new stadium?
