Leicester City fans were left fuming after Scott McTominay escaped a red card for Manchester United during their clash at Old Trafford.
After a dull first half with little quality, the visitors were left incensed when McTominay went in for a challenge on James Maddison inside the United half.
The midfielder has his foot raised as he looked to momentarily lose control, leaving his opposite number in a heap. Despite the protestations of the Foxes, referee Andre Marriner settled with a yellow card for the United man.
Despite Leicester’s angry reaction, including a long conversation between Kasper Schmeichel and Marriner, VAR didn’t intervene to upgrade the booking to a red.
