The 19-year-old winger, who joined from Atalanta on a five-year deal back in January, has impressed across his eight first-team appearances and found the net against AC Milan in the Europa League.
The next step for the Ivory Coast international looked set to be a temporary deal to a major European league in the Dutch Eredivisie - but that is no longer the case.The club announced on Monday that Amad suffered a thigh muscle injury during training, and estimated that he will be on the sidelines for six weeks.
