Manchester United legend Eric Cantona says he has no regrets over his infamous assault on a Crystal Palace fan - instead insisting he should have kicked him harder.It has been just over 26 years since Cantona received a nine-month ban from football for the attack on Matthew Simmons, who triggered a furious reaction from the Frenchman when he was sent off at Selhurst Park.After launching a brutal kick at Simmons and following it up with a series of punches, he later pleaded guilty to assault and was forced to complete community service.However, Cantona’s only regret about the incident is that he did not kick him hard enough.“I have been insulted thousands of times and have never reacted, but sometimes you are fragile,” he said in a new film.
