Manchester United will reportedly step up their interest in Lyon striker Moussa Dembele with his value now likely decreasing.

Most clubs around Europe are expected to struggle financially in the fallout of the global coronavirus pandemic, which would affect the transfer market.

With teams having less money to spend on new players, the price-tags of potential signings will also reduce. Dembele scored 16 goals in Ligue 1 before France banned sporting events until September.

And his performances saw him heavily linked with a switch to Chelsea and the Red Devils in the summer transfer window. The former Celtic and Fulham forward has proven himself yet again in France and is thought to be open to a move back to England.
