A police cordon was put in place outside Eccles Rugby Club whilst emergency services dealt with the incident last night. Officers and paramedics attended after the alarm was raised just after 8pm. Officers were then said to have remained at the scene for a while after the man was transported to hospital. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) today confirmed the incident was a "medical episode." A
