Facebook users begged a man to stop as he live-streamed his own death this weekend.Jonathan Bailey, who was known to his friends as Baz or Bazza, told his Facebook followers he intended to take his own life on Saturday afternoon and started broadcasting a live video.Dozens of people – reports put the figure as high as 400 – tuned in around lunchtime on Saturday with many pleading with Jonathan, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, to stop and seek help.It has since emerged that after the former boxer posted his initial post, Facebook support got in touch with him to offer help.A Facebook company spokesman said: “Our thoughts go out to Mr Bailey’s family at this difficult time."We can confirm that the live-stream was deleted very soon.
