Friends of a man who live-streamed his own death on Facebook could only watch helplessly as they begged him to stop. Jonathan Bailey's pals pleaded with him in the comments to "not give up" and "stay strong" after he announced on the social media site he intended to take his own life.
The dad-of-four - who was known as Baz or Bazza - had earlier in the week posted a series of upsetting posts with one friend saying: "I know you're in a bad place hun but this isn’t the answer." Another added: "Baz ring me or anyone and start TALKING we are all here for you..." Pals begged him to remember how loved he was and how much of an inspiration he had been thanks to his work in the community dedicating his life to supporting others.
