A man was left seriously hurt after being attacked by a gang of males with metal poles in Salford Quays. Police were called to the scene of the attack at around 7.30pm on Friday evening (September 22).
The man - aged in his 30s - 'had been assaulted by a group of males with metal poles'. His injuries were serious but not life-threatening, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They said the attack happened in a 'busy part' of Salford Quays.
